Nason single stage paint

Oct 13, 2021 · The process of applying a single-stage isn’t the same as that of modern two-stage paint where you apply a base and then clear. In single-stage, the mixed-up paint is applied at once and then you are done. No clear coat is to be applied after. So, if you must clear coat single-stage paint, then do so once the paint has cured onto the car.

It's getting harder and harder to find good single stage paints any more that can be mixed in the old colors, let alone those that are half-way affordable, since the refinish business has totally gone base/clear. It shouldn't be that way because SS and BC are usually mixed from the same toners in most lines.
