The .38 Special Security Sixes are rare, but there are not as many Ruger DA collectors so I don't think they will ever bring a huge premium. I have a Security Six 357 and a Service SIx 38 Special. The 357 is just an exceptional firearm (with its action job). I have a Security Six 357 and a Service SIx 38 Special. The 357 is just an exceptional firearm (with its action job). To me it's the perfect size for packing. I'd use .38s for practice & .357s for carry.
