Small herd of bison on the Island of Bornholm since 2012. Started with 7 wild animals from Poland. Do not know how many there is now. Originally a 5 year project just to evaluate the feasibility of wild Bison. Turned out to be a good enough experience for wild life and for the people (tourist), to keep the project running.
